Fine Particle SoftwareTM products

Software developed by FPS available for sale includes the following titles.

(Note that some of the following computer programs form parts of our open courses listed in the FPS Courses section.)

Format

Each program is on a 3.5 inch floppy disk or CD ROM data disk for personal computers running MS DOS or Windows and capable of displaying graphics. Each program is accompanied by a User's manual which contains instructions for use as well as an outline of the underlying theory and assumptions.

To operate all programs in MSDOS: Load DOS, insert disk in drive A, type A:, press ENTER, type MENU, press ENTER. In Windows, just double-click on file name Menu.exe.

General Notes

All software titles produced by Fine Particle Software use a colour graphics screen (VGA / SVGA).

Any screen can be printed or copied into the stack with the PRINT SCREEN key and subsequently pasted into other software.

Finally, all our programs incorporate error protection against things like using print command with no printer connected or switched on.

Computer-Aided Design of Separator Networks requires VGA or SVGA capability and a pointing device (usually a mouse). A more powerful processor (80486 or better) is recommended.
